Shadowbox test

This post has nothing to do with exercise, food, or lifestyle. It's all about me getting tricky with technology. You have been warned :)

Still here? Good - I am recruiting all of you to help me test out some (hopefully) neat new website functionality. As you may know, we recently hit 300+ followers on our Facebook page (!!! Thanks everyone!) so I made this video to say thanks:
Hope you enjoyed that. Then, later that night, I was lying in bed playing around with Final Cut Pro (you know... like you do...) and gave myself the challenge of using simple edits to create a different version of the previous video... a version that gave the illusion of one long continuous take with some Portal like teleportation effects. I thought the result was pretty fun, so I tried to upload it to Youtube... only to have it blocked!! I guess my choice of music was too popular. Thus was launched a grand adventure...
...and here's where you come in. You see that thumbnail to the left? Click it!
If all goes well you should be watching the video in a pretty lightbox. So, that's pretty neat, right? But wait... there's more!
Turns out you can put all kinds of stuff in a lightbox. Things like iframes... which means I can hopefully use them to better integrate some content into the website and, hopefully, make navigation easier for all of you. Here's a potential example:
Did it work?? Pretty nice, huh? In theory the lightbox will do all kinds of fun things, like dynamically scale etc, but I've only had the chance to test it on Firefox and Safari using my Macbook. Would you please let me know if everything displayed correctly for you? If so, I'll be updating some elements of the website to incorporate the functionality.
If you're interested, I'm using shadowbox. I got it to work with Squarespace by following these guidelines.
What do you think??
In other news, I really should learn some coding... it would make all of this web dev so much easier...
