Education, creativity, and the need for change

I am in love with a middle aged British man.
His name is Sir Ken Robinson. You may be familiar with his influential TED talk, found here. He did another one recently, which you can watch here.
Sir Ken likes to talk about creativity and education, and he's got a lot to say on the subject. His contention is that nearly all public education systems in the world are broken and in need of a revolution. In order to prepare our children for the enormous issues they will be grappling with in the 21st century, we should be trying to nurture and develop their creativity and capacities for divergent thinking - indeed, we should value them as highly as literacy. Instead, we insist on standardization and we treat every child like they were the same.
RSA Animate has just come out with an incredible piece that combines one of Sir Ken's recent talks with some excellent art and animation. You need to watch this right now:
You can find Sir Ken's website here.
