The Fundamentals course is intended to be a broad introduction to the world of Primal, Practical, & Playful movement. Over the course of 6 class-hours, we cover a broad range of subjects and learn some of the basic movements around each subject. The Fundamentals course is meant to prepare you for future Fifth Ape training and is designed for a broad audience.

The Parkour 101 course is a deep dive into Parkour. We've received a lot of requests for "Parkour only" classes and a lot of requests for "No Parkour in regular classes, please!" so, we created a course that offers a deep emersive dive into the world of Parkour. At 12 class-hours, the Parkour 101 workshop is twice the length of the regular Fundamentals workshop. It is also much more physically and mentally demanding!  That being said, the purpose of the Parkour 101 workshop is to teach relative beginners the nuts and bolts of the discipline. If you've been training for a while, you'll still benefit from our exercise-science based approach.  We'll spend a lot more time drilling and many classes will be held away from Forest Theater in some "real world" training environments.

So, in brief, the Fundamentals course is broad and designed for everyone while Parkour 101 is focused and designed for more athletic individuals.
